Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Christians should fear God and believe like a child. They cannot see God, but they know he is there.

When you are sad over something, Jesus will be there for you.

Meek in this verse means patient. Try to be patient with others.
************************************************************************************************************Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
You should want to be good and do what is right. If you really want it, you can probably work to get it.
************************************************************************************************************Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
Show mercy for others. For example, be kind to your enemies and show compassion.
************************************************************************************************************Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
Truly have God in your heart.
************************************************************************************************************Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
Don’t try to solve problems with fighting, try to go on peacefully about things.
************************************************************************************************************Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Jesus is saying here that you are blessed when others make fun of you for being a Christian.
