This is the gift I give to you

How are you feeling right now? I know it is weird to ask and may seem absurd ask of you. I completely understand and I probably have no right to ask you, but I wonder how you are really feeling right now. Do you feel scared? Alone? Confused? Not too sure? A mixed bag of emotions you alone know, but too scared to even whisper it? I know what you are probably feeling right now because I've been down that road before. It can be a long, dark road with no real hope of seeing a glimmer of light. You travel down that road, wondering if you can get off somewhere or even take a detour, but don't worry and take heart! I am here to offer you the truth, nothing more and nothing less. It's like I am offering you a free gift to you, in which you can accept it or just leave it at the door. What truth? What are you talking about? The truth is very simple, almost too simple, but yet, it is complex in some aspects. The truth, in which I am speaking of, is about God. I know, I know...I can hear all the moaning and groaning. Why would I want to talk about such a boring subject, such as God? In truth, I think and feel that it needs to be shared with anyone and everyone that will listen. What about God and what makes Him so interesting? God is loving and compassionate, but also just and fair. He gives comfort, wisdom, guidance, healing, and understanding to those who love Him. His comfort and peace is like wrapping a warm blanket around you in a cold winter's day. His love for you is so unbelievable that it is incredible! What? What is this? A god that loves me? Are you serious? Is this true? Yes, I am quite serious and yes, it is true. How could it not? He loves you so much that He gave up His only begotten Son to die a most horrible, humiliating death...on a crucifixion (John 3:16). He bore all of the sins of the world...past, present, and any future ones, which includes yours and mine. After 3 days, He rose again! Who is this God's Son? His name is Jesus Christ...He was born from a virgin woman in Bethlehem, Israel and started His 3-year ministry by being baptized by his cousin, John the Baptist, in the Sea of Galilee. How cool is that? Okay, okay, it might not be cool and be a little weird, but hey, just think about it! During Jesus' ministry, He went around, taught on many different subjects, healed people, and so much more. He even chose 12 normal guys to be His disciples. I would highly recommend that you catch everything in the Gospels....Psst, one piece of advice before starting: If you have a Bible handy, the Gospels are right away in the beginning of the New Testament. There should be 4 Gospels right there, if you want to count them. In John 14:6, Jesus said that He is the truth, the way, and the life, and no one can come to the Father, which is God, except through Him, who is God's Son. Jesus is the High Priest, Counselor, and many more countless names that I can't list here. Also, in Matthew 11:28, Jesus also was quoted, as saying that you can come to Him and He can give you rest. The good news is that God can forgive you for your sins, if you repent, accept His Son, and to turn from your former life to serve God and to follow Christ. It is totally possible to have a relationship with God, with the one who created you, me, every living creature, the earth, the universe, believe me. I know it maybe confusing and kind of hard to accept, but it is possible. He wants a relationship with all of us and that's why He created us in the very beginning of time. He chose us long before we chose him and He knows each and every one of us, ever since in the womb. Okay, so you read it and decided: "Hey, that sounds soooo cool and I want to have a relationship with God." That's great news! If you decided to make that faith commitment, I want you to run (Don't walk!) to your nearest local church and talk to a pastor, since I must admit that I am NOT a qualified pastor in any means or even eligible to become a pastor. I know and realize you might have a several local churches in your area, but call around and check them out. You'll be glad that you did! :-) To all those Christians out there, I haven't forgotten about you! I don't want you to be discouraged in your walk with the Lord. We might have those times, in which we may feel discouraged or down in our luck or whatever, but take heart! God is with you always, no matter where we go or what we do. He is an everlasting help in our times of trouble. We may not understand His ways, but it all works out in the end, in His glory. God is always with us unto the very end. I know that being a Christian is really hard, from time to time, and I understand, but don't be dismayed or discouraged. There might be persecution and hatred because of your faith in Christ. In Matthew 10, it has been predicted that there would be persecution of the church. Don't give up the faith, no matter what you're going through! All of us don't know how much time we have on this earth, no matter if we are a Christian or not. Before we die, we have to make a decision to believe in God and go to Heaven or to reject Him and have an Eternal Death. I am not here to judge you or anything and I am not going to start, but you need to make a decision, if you're not a Christian. If you are a Christian, you stay on the path and follow God with all of your heart, soul, and mind. If have strayed from the path, repent of all your sins and get back on that path with God! So...I presented the gift and the truth to you. I am passing it on to you, hoping and praying that you'll receive it, if you haven't received Christ as your personal Saviour. What's your decision?
