Yo yo yo, I hope everybody had an enjoyable daylight savings time. Why do we even have a daylight savings time? Why don' t the farmers just get up earlier? Last time I checked, we have these nifty things called alarm clocks...just sayin...Anyway, .thc[squared]. is pleased to announce the addition of a new member, John Ferro, on tenors. For those of you who don't know what tenors are, go to www.illinidrumline.com and click on the link. Or, just come to one of THC Squared's upcoming shows. Rumor has it that there might be an upcoming show with Lucky Boys Confusion, but at this point it's pure speculation...or is it? Sometime I'll know for sure, and I'll be sure to tell you about it when that time comes around, but until then, continue the battle against the man!

Whoa!! It seems like we just went through a time-warp or something...THC Squared has had a wild and crazy summer, and is ready to get back into the swing of things with a new drummer: Doug Ford. Doug has already played several shows as a member of THC Squared, including the Urbana Sweet Corn Festival, Nadafinga's CD Release at Cowboy Monkey, ACACIAstock at ISU, and most recently opening for OZMA at the Canopy Club in Urbana. Also, don't hold me to this, but rumor is that you can expect an EP from these guys sometime early in '04. Til then, keep checking this site for updates on shows and whatnot. I'm gonna put up some more pictures, so stay tuned for your first glimpse of THC's new drummer, Doug! We're also still looking for people to fill positions in our street team! E-mail Danimal if you're interested! Adios for now, and remember to stick up for the little guy!

Well shizzle, ma nizzle... the show last night at the IMC was totally awesome -- if you didn't see Danimal's outfit, you definitely missed out! I might be able to get some pictures from the show posted on the website, but apparently, the people who take pictures like to *selfishly* keep them for themselves! So...if you happen to have pictures of any THC Squared show, PLEASE send them to me! I promise I'll give you credit for them!!! Anyway, if you missed the show last night, you've still got at least one more chance to see THC Squared this month:

Heyyyyyyy mahfuckahs! Thanks to everyone who attended the concert on Monday from THC Squared! It was a blast. King Solomon's Grave and Sick Day rocked the house, and THC Squared had an extremely successful 4th show. If you missed the show, you've got two more opportunities so far to see THC Squared:
April 8th, at the IMC in Champaign.
and
April 24th, at the Canopy in Urbana with Johnny Socko. (Cover $5, 10 PM 18+)

Hey everybody. THC Squared is playing at the Canopy Club on March 3, 2003 with Sick Day and King Solomon's Grave. Cover is gonna be $2. Drink specials are $1.50 drafts, and THC Squared is headlining, so expect to see them onstage right around midnight.

Wow! What an awesome show a few weeks back with nationally known Graham Colton! Look for THC Squared to be playing a LOT more shows really soon. So far, they're keeping everything pretty much top secret -- so check back often for updates! There's a rumor that THC Squared will be playing March 3 at the Canopy with Sick Day again, and also that they may soon play the High Dive and the IMC in Champaign. I'm trying to get ahold of the guys in the band so we can get member pages and a whole lot of other fun stuff for you all added to this site. I'm also looking for pictures from the Jan 21 show with Graham Colton!!! In the meantime, play hard and rock the world!
