Dear 1962 Classmates,

Based upon the responses of our classmates, our 50th class reunion will be on the weekend of June 29-July 1, 2012. We are planning to have a Friday night get together, a Saturday lunch, our reunion Saturday night, and a Sunday brunch. The Saturday night reunion will be at the Arcola Kaskaskia Country Club.

We will also be planning something for the TCHS Homecoming Week of 2012 to celebrate our 50th reunion.

Please mark your 2012 calendar now. You don't have to respond yet, just put it on your calendar for now. Your actual invitation will come at a later date. At that time we'll ask you which of the activities you plan on attending.

REUNION 2007 A SUCCESS!

What a week-end! Party at Libby's, FOOD, Lunch at "Gus's", FOOD, Get together at Judy's, FOOD, Party at Tuscany's FOOD, Breakfast, FOOD! Did I mention we had a lot to eat?

It was great to see all our OLD classmates and have a chance to talk to them. It was interesting to find out what they have been doing all these years and what their future plans are. Many of us have retired and are enjoying it. Others are still working, planning to retire soon, while others who really enjoy their work have no plans of retireing any time soon.

Most of us are grandparents and several of us are great grandparents. I guess we really are old, but I don't feel old, do you?

The evening at Tuscany' was fantastic. Morrie did a great job as MC as he showed photos taken while we were in school, played music from the 50's and 60's (all of which he played all the instruments and sang himself), and presented the life stories of our classmates.

I'm sure all who were there enjoyed the "roast" of Marsha (Graham) Strader and Jane (Rothgeb) Hackett.

Several of our teachers, Warren & Dorothy Lionberger, Coach Murray, and Mrs. Allen were in attendance. It was great to see them when we didn't have an assignment due!

Several classmates that could not make it to the reunion in June were in Tuscola in early September. So on September 2nd there was a "mini-reunion" held at Judy (Wright) Landeck's.

David took some pictures of the town for those of you who couldn't make it. Also, the motorcycle belongs to Roy Lietz!

Some of the pictures didn't turn out as good as they could have because of lighting conditions and sometimes failure of a flash, but I left them in anyway.

I'm already looking forward to the next reunion. I hope to see you there.

One thing more... let's this keep this site interesting and current, send me pictures, articles, news items, and ideas.
