2003-2004 Charities

Ideas are being requested for the charities we will support in this upcoming year. If you have a favorite charity that you would like the club to consider, please contact Donnie or Terry prior to the next meeting on May 8th.

Club Equipment

The club is taking suggestions for equipment that is need for the club. These funds will be allocated from the 2003 Rod Run proceeds. If you know of any equipment that is needed, please contact Donnie or Terry with your suggestions.

New Shirts

Wanda Freeland is researching information on new shirts for the club. She will give her report at upcoming meetings. If you have any suggestions, please contact Wanda.

Crusin’ The Coast Reps

Clarence Graley and Joey Olier were elected to serve as Crusin’ The Coast Reps for the remainder of the year. Since Crusin’ the Coast follows a calendar year, our club will elect the positions again at the December Meeting.

Clinton, MS Rod Run

We have an official challenge with the Slidell Coastal Cruisers to have more club registrants at the Clinton, MS Rod Run on Father’s Day. The prize being awarded at the Dixie Rod Run is a barbecue pit on a trailer. This is a very nice prize. If you can make this rod run, please call for your reservations today at the Ridgeland Inn in Clinton. Rooms are filling up fast.

SRSRA Rod Run

Terry reported that the 25th Anniversary Rod Run was a success. Suggestions for next year will be to start registration on Friday at 1 PM and extend registration for late comers. Registration cut off will remain at noon on Saturday to allow for calculations of the winners. Flyers are presently being designed. They will be available for the Covington Rod Run in May.

D’Iberville Cruise-In

The D’Iberville Cruise-In made its debut this year in April. This is a great time to see old friends and meet new ones. As in the past, we will be in the D’Iberville Wal-Mart Parking lot on the second Saturday of each month through the summer. See Ya There!
