In the classroom
In the hall
I feel as if I’m not really
There at all

People don’t see me
I get in their way
They don’t look as they pass me
I’m not here to stay

I wear red
I wear black
They don’t see
I see they’re back

I watch them
They don’t watch me
I may not be there
But at least I’m free
Because only a human
Can be invisible in red
