Feyenoord 1-0 Fenerbahce:

We've lost 1-0 in the first leg of the Qualifying Round for the Champions League to Feyenoord. Werner Lorant dropped Ortega and started new transfer Stevic in the starting lineup. Rustu, Ogun, Stevic, Fatih, Mustafa, Umit, Mirkovic, Johnson, Rapaic, Revivo and Washington formed the starting eleven.
 

The first half of the game ended goalless but included some tough tackling and a number of yellow cards. Ono's left foot strike from outside the area in the 64th minute beat Rustu at his bottom right corner. This was to be the only goal of the game.
The second leg will be played on Tuesday the 27th of August at the Fenerbahce Sukru Saracoglu Stadium.
Rustu played a strong match, and was like the rock behind the defense. He always had his eye on van Hooijdonk's free kicks and shots, and was unlucky to let in that fateful goal.
