I came upon Yami No Matsuei at a little anime club we have at school. To be entirelly truthful, I don't think I ever ended up really getting the whole entire idea. The show is basically centered on Tsuzuki Asato, who is an employee of EnmaCho's Shoka Division. Their job is to judge people's life deeds and bring them to trial before they die. They are called "Shinigami", also known as Gods of death.

  Tsuzuki teams up with a (I think teenage) boy named Hisoka. Together they travel around doing what they need too. There is deffinentley is some sexual tension, between the, but it's sometimes hard to see how they feel about eachother. And then comes in everyone's favorite character, Muraki! Muraki is a not nice man, for he is the one who killed Hisoka while he was alive on earth (remember, Shinigamis are already dead). Muraki meets Tsuzuki and falls in love with him, and Tsuzuki would have us beleive that he hates Muraki...

  Pretty confusing huh? I thought so too. And normally I would never have dreamed of watching an anime like this because it deals with a lot of guy loves guy stuff. But it's a really cool show, and I'm not really sure if everyone would like it, but I sure did. I loved it! It's an awsome show! Even if the idea of it creeps you out, at least check it out. I was kinda creeped out at first too, but now I absolutley adore the show! heh heh..and Muraki!
