A: I was 11 or 12 when I started skating.
Q: Who was your first sponsor?
A: My first sponsor was a local shop in the Mira Mesa
Mall called Tropix Surf Hut(San Diego,Ca). They are no longer around.
They pretty much heard of me around from local kids. So, it was word
of mouth. I didn't have to make a video or anything.
Q: When did you turn pro?
A: I turned pro in 1992 for Gordon & Smith (G&S)

Q: Whats your favorite band?
A: All time favorite band is the Beatles.
Q: Why and when did you decide to open Willys Workshop?
A: I decided to open up Willys Workshop because I always
wanted to go into business. So, why not get into something you already
know and you've been in involved with most of your life. It's different
too. A skateboard / barbershop.
Q: Whats your feelings on visiting the Philippines?
A: I love visiting the Philippines! It's awesome!
Q: Whats a normal day like for you?
A: On a average day I skate in the morning at the Ocean
Beach skatepark then go by the shop and take care of business. Or
I'll go to the shop in the morning then go to Mission Valley in the afternoon.
Depending what I have do or feel like doing.
Q: What was it like to go on the Tony Hawk Gigantic Skatepark
tour?
A: The Tony Hawk tour was awesome going around to good
skateparks and hang'in out with friends messing around.
Q: How often do you change your board?
A: I change my board every 5 days or whenever it gets
thrashed. Whatever comes first.
Q: What would you be doing if you weren't skating?
A: If I wasn't skating I would run for President!
No, I would mostly likely be in college or working a 9-5 job.

A: My favorite trick is nollies.

A: I skate mostly around San Diego. Secret spots!
