How It Works:

The last version had way too many problems with consistency between mana base, getting the combo, and protecting it. So now it's only U/B since the green was really only in there for Gorilla Titan. Since the deck is designed to lock down your opponents, it shouldn't need huge creatures anyway.

The basic strategy is to remove all cards from all graveyards, then get out Web of Inertia to stop your opponents from attacking you. Later, you win with your Carrion Wurms and Sengir Vampires.

The best scenario is a turn one Planar Void or a turn two Withered Wretch, followed shortly by the Web of Inertia. You may wish to consider a mulligan if you don't get either graveyard kill card in your opening hand, though the Wretch works surprisingly fast even when it hits around turn five. The Turnabout is for that situation where an opponent's creatures are bigger than yours, but since they can't attack, attacks by you would only result in the death of your creatures. Just tap down their guys and go in for the kill. Look out for enchantment kill: that's where the counters are mainly needed.

The cool thing about this deck is that I originally concepted it as a no-rare deck. Neither of the Sengirs is from Torment. After I ordered the cards (Planar Void was most expensive, which makes this a pretty cheap deck), I realized I had forgotten Gravestorm, so I put my one copy in as the only rare. It's not really necessary, though.
