Pixel: See Character Bios page Portals: Also known as Gateways. They are rips through the space-time continuum to other worlds in the Diadem. They appear as jagged holes, deep black and cold. Only magic-users and beings of magic can pass through. They form easier in the open air. If a magic-user tries to go through a gateway to a circuit closer to the Diadem core without sufficient magic potential, he or she will be destroyed by a magical overload. Travel has to take place between two adjacent worlds.
