Now that a two-thirds majority of ELCA convention delegates have decided to allow practicing homogay clergy to be ELCA-rostered and continue on ministering in ELCA churches here and there nationwide, and have given their approval to same-gender sodomy-union blessings, what is going to happen next?

Some of the two-thirds who voted for the pro-homosexual Human Sexuality statements of the ELCA at the ELCA Convention in Minneapolis in August of 2009 will take an activist role in attempting to welcome and integrate both impenitent and potentially-impenitent homoqueers into ELCA congregations, activities, and education.....while others will take a more complacent attitude of "Don't-Ask, Don't-Tell" with a withdrawn let-it-be-and-don't-rock-the-boat ambivalence.

Lutheran conventionists have been toying and tinkering around with the homoclergy issue for years, but now it is becoming apparent that those who pushed for and promoted, or at least allowed, the two pro-homosexual ELCA Convention Statements did not anticipate the intolerant, robust, and vigorous furor such was going to cause. They were counting on a more congenial and compliant (though not "forgiven" for implied sinfulness) response from die-hard Lutheran Christian moralists. And they are still hoping that the disturbance will simply quiet down and moderate over time, like blazing but then smoldering embers cooling off after a raging fire.

Without a continuous declaration of anti-homogay and anti-homosodomite Scripture verses to and among Lutheran church members, plus a constant reminder of the contents of the pro-homosexuality statements of the ELCA Convention [not for perverse defilement nor for imposition of a peculiar and blasphemous type of inclusive-diversity "edification" and "sanctification" but instead for needed exposure and righteous reaction against the bad guys and bad gals responsible for the dissention], the whole rukus would and will die out.

The heretics hope that - after upcoming conferences and reactionary threats of condemnation, resistance, and divestment from such groups as Word Alone, Core, and others - Lutherans and the reporting media will get sick of the subject and simply not want to discuss or talk about it anymore. They hope that no more mention of it will be made at the pulpits nor at elders or trustees or deacons or board meetings....but that people so fed up and disgusted with the entire subject will refrain from talking about it anymore and rather let it rest.

One Word Alone objectionist put it this way (and I quote):

"The arguments supporting the decisions of the ELCA churchwide assembly were sophisticated, subtle, and often appealing. The argements being made now by ELCA leaders to assure its members that nothing significant has changed are too. To understand those argements and be able to counter them in an effective and appealing way is challenging, but vitally important. In particular, it is important to highlight the deep theological implications of the assembly decisions.....

In this crisis, it is easy to think that everyone sees what a problem this is or that you are the only person in your church who sees the problem. Neither is probably the case. It is amazing even now how many ELCA members are unaware of what has happened, aware but do not fully understand it or are deeply upset but feel isolated.....

If your pastors agree with the assembly decisions or try to dismiss them and their implications as being of little importance....the pastors must be reminded of a third option that many members will take: leaving by the back door and moving silently to another church." (unquote)

Other options of retaliation and reconfiguration are to:

(1) Tell a pro-homo pastor to seek another call.
(2) Redirect benevolence to outside Lutheran and Christian organizations and groups with tithing and offering-plate monies.
(3) Vote out pro-homo ELCA leaders and bishops and pastors and vote in anti-homo ones.
(4) Have the church congregation sever property-ownership ties with the ELCA and re-emerge as an independent Lutheran body or join an already-existing one.
(5) Change church constitutions and by-laws to disallow same-sex blessings and instead support traditional marriage - with or without synod approval.
(6) Stifle the impulse to register as a separate 501(c)(3) non-profit religious corporation to avoid becoming under subjection to State laws mandating compliance with racist "civil" "rights," feminist-sexist "equal" "rights," homopervert "human" "rights," abortion-homicide "reproductive" "rights," and evolutionary-mythology "educational" "science" statutes.

Pertinent Bible verses to constantly remind the growingly-lethargic about the homosexual issue are:

Lev 20:13 If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall be put to death, their blood is upon them.

Homosexuals, like atheists, cherish a deep rebellious defiance against God and his created entities, but in the case of homosexuals, their vengeful hatred also targets those of the opposite gender. Male homos essentially despise and hate female humans, while lesbians despise and hate male humans. If a male homo reads the graphic descriptions of a woman in the Song of Solomon, they either misconstrue it as silly or dirty, while they might or might not consider the Song of Solomon descriptions of a male erotically stimulating and desirable. Similarly with lesbians pertaining to graphic descriptions of a man therein. If either does agree with the descriptions of the opposite gender they read, they are not interested in enjoying and benefitting from such, but simply exhibiting rebellious defiance against the Lord and His natural order.

You recall the Scripture stating:

Gen 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth."

Especially homosexuals might wonder why humans cannot function simply on instinct, like animals, which soul-less animals have no sense of morality nor immorality but in every way operate on instinct and limited memory according to the stimuli they encounter and sense and respond to with their senses. Indeed, primative peoples who have wandered far from knowledgeable civility they had when they all stepped off Noah's Ark (more barbaric than Phoenicians, Chinese, Sumarians, Egyptians, etc.) have simplistic verbal and written communication almost like the grunts, chirps, and howls of animals.

But whether or not homos like or question the need of complex and advanced alphabets, phrases, and sentences such as found in Holy Scripture and translations of such, the expediency of such advanced communication mechanisms is already an integral part of even somewhat-secular society - as for example for the necessity of written-language highway signs mandatory for unified and cooperative traffic flow, computation of numerical quantities, scientific identification of all sorts of phenomena for all kinds of purposes, plus buying-and-selling personal and commercial transactions.....all of which go way beyond stimuli-reactionary animalistic instinct.

Vital it is to research and discover the named identities of all those who voted for the four diabolical pro-homosexual ELCA Convention Resolutions, AND to research and discover the name identities of all those who voted against the two Statements....then apportion and unapportion contributory associations, personal friendships, monies, contributions, benevolences, etc. accordingly.

Pro-homo deviancy has always been around ever since Satan tempted and deceived Eve in the Garden, but the recent aberration began with heretics like Marcion, Westcott-Hort, UBS, Nestle, and their ilk concocting corrupt Greek texts purportedly of New-Testament origin (in stark contrast to and against the inerrant Trinitarian Greek Text of F.H.A. Scrivener following the traditional Received Texts of Erasmus, Beza, Elzevir and Stephanus), and continues on with modern false-prophet lutheran seminary professors and seminarians and clergy embracing English translations of such pseudo-scripture (as for example the RSV's [misleading and wrong] use of the phrase: "sexual perverts" instead of effeminate and sodomites in their misrendering of First Corinthians 6:9, plus the omissions of crucial (though not "critical") words within First John 5:7, but thankfully included in the KJV).

This webpage author has noticed several weaknesses in both the umbrella group CORE and the subgroup Word Alone. Certain leaders of CORE have expressed a non-justifiable spirit of organizational comradery and forgiveness concerning those who oppose anti-homosexual premises. That is not congruent with the Bible:

Deut 7:2 and when the LORD your God gives them over to you, and you defeat them; then you must utterly destroy them; you shall make no covenant with them, and show no mercy to them.

Josh 11:20 For it was the LORD's doing to harden their hearts that they should come against Israel in battle, in order that they should be utterly destroyed, and should receive no mercy but be exterminated, as the LORD commanded Moses.

Josh 24:19 But Joshua said to the people, "You cannot serve the LORD; for he is a holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions or your sins.

2Chron 19:2 But Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to King Jehoshaphat, "Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the LORD? Because of this, wrath has gone out against you from the LORD.

Ps 139:21 Do I not hate them that hate thee, O LORD? And do I not loathe them that rise up against thee?
Ps 139:22 I hate them with perfect hatred; I count them my enemies.

Also, both groups have eager but non-qualified-because-of-gender weaker sex in prominent positions of advertising, steering committeeship, and as directional speakers for group meetings. Such is not concordant with Scripture:

Lev 21:7 They shall not marry a harlot or a woman who has been defiled; neither shall they marry a woman divorced from her husband; for the priest is holy to his God.

Lev 27:5 If the person is from five years old up to twenty years old, your valuation shall be for a male twenty shekels, and for a female ten shekels.
Lev 27:6 If the person is from a month old up to five years old, your valuation shall be for a male five shekels of silver, and for a female your valuation shall be three shekels of silver.
Lev 27:7 And if the person is sixty years old and upward, then your valuation for a male shall be fifteen shekels, and for a female ten shekels.

Num 30:5 But if her father expresses disapproval to her on the day that he hears of it, no vow of hers, no pledge by which she has bound herself, shall stand; and the LORD will forgive her, because her father opposed her.

Also, the so-called "traditional" definition of marriage as being a [sexually-oriented] union of "one man and ONE woman" precludes the [legitimate] possibility of multiple-wife polygamy for husbands....again, something contrary against not merely the ceremonial but rather the moral laws of Scripture:

Conspicuously absent in the CORE and Word Alone doctrinal statements of beliefs is the necessity for church-related ladies to be modestly dressed:

Num 5:18 And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and unbind the hair of the woman's head, and place in her hands the cereal offering of remembrance, which is the cereal offering of jealousy. And in his hand the priest shall have the water of bitterness that brings the curse.

Deut 32:42 I will make my arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh--with the blood of the slain and the captives, from the long-haired heads of the enemy.'

Song 7:5 Your head crowns you like Carmel [my bride], and your flowing locks are like purple; a king is held captive in the tresses.

1Cor 11:16 If anyone wants to be contentious, we have no such custom [of allowing a woman's glorious loose long hair - hanging below mouth level but not tied into a back-of-head ponytail or tied up in a chignon or completely covered with a scarf or shawl - to be regarded as adequate as a prayer veil or covering], neither do the churches of God.

1Tim 2:8 I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling;
1Tim 2:9 also that women should adorn themselves modestly and sensibly in decent apparel......

Keep in mind that the ELCA - as with other businesses - is a faceless and non-human corporate entity, in reality existing only in the semantics of government-registered abstraction. True, actual people identify with and as components of that abstract entity, but the entity itself has no scentient destiny of continuing to exist in the bliss of Heaven or the torments of Hell. That is why it is of utmost importance to identify - by names - persons who voted for the pro-homosexuality ELCA Statements and to identify - by names - persons who voted against the pro-homosexuality ECLA Statements....and respond against and to both accordingly and individually!

Remember, a police officer does not arrest nor fine - and a judge does not imprison nor execute - corporate abstractions, but rather criminal persons who individually and solely deserve whatever punishment should be applied only to them.
