· Remember that you are talking to a human, so be careful of what you say. You could inadvertently hurt someone’s feelings. You should behave online as you do in real life. Have respect for others, which means no swearing. Also, state your opinion, but remember they’re entitled to an opinion as well.
· The internet and e-mail systems were designed to share knowledge, so if you figure out how to use something please let others know. Don’t assume everyone knows what you know, because chances are at least one person doesn’t.
· Please respect everyone’s privacy, which includes reading someone’s e-mail or papers on their desk.
· Also, use whole sentences with proper grammar and spelling. You don’t want a misunderstanding, because you abbreviated something and someone took it the wrong way.
