The Great Adventures Of Rumpy Bear

Rumpy is a tan coloured huggable bear who lives near a wide beach with a little girl he calls Angel and her Mother.

At night when everything is quiet, Rumpy listens to the ocean waves crashing onto the shore. He loves looking out the bedroom window as the dark blanket of night glows with millions of glittering stars. Angel once told him they twinkle like Diamonds, Sapphires, Emeralds and Rubies.

Rumpy and Angel often sit together for what seems like hours, staring at the night sky full of sparkling jewels. Way up high there's a cheeky moon showing off it's many faces each night. Sometimes the moon plays a game of hide and seek with Rumpy behind the clouds.

Our story begins one morning as Rumpy lies on Angel's bed, quietly remembering the starry sky of last night. Before long odd noises grab his attention. Noises that seem to be coming from the kitchen. A rustling of plastic bags, a clinking of glasses, a bonging sound of an empty pot and a funny clinking noise of spoons.  In a flash, Angel appeared in the doorway, put on her hat and gathered Rumpy up by his front paw along with a story book.

This is another part of life Rumpy loved. He gulped once and concentrated on keeping his eyes open while his tummy flip-flopped in excitement. Angel swung him by his paw in a circle, twirling him around with her so he could hardly see the room. It flashed before his eyes so fast he didn't know which way was up or down or back or front. He didn't mean to miss even one second of the twirl but everything was moving and spinning so quickly he'd blinked.  Rumpy found himself being held tightly under Angel's arm and now all he could see were her feet and the floor as they skipped through the hall.
