This house truck was owned by Mr Barrett who lives in Pokatai.
He is a reporter and editor for the Advocate and the Northern News. He later sold the truckhouse to George Sunnex.
The truck-house has an old woodstove that we light up sometimes... You can boil up some water and have a cuppa.... while you read.... It also has a double bed bunk inside it... It is full of history books, our geneology,, and a Great variety of books that Im sure you'll find interesting... even Mill and Boons for the romantics.....
The lights are powered by a generator.
So be sure to visit our library next time you pass by..... I'm sure you wont be dissappointed....
