I find, when listening to others, that msot words used are a waste. The majority of conversations I have entail little more than basic words learned during grammar school. Has our society degraded so mucht hat all the words in the universe are confined solely to writing and reading? I'm sure most of you would take that sentence for granted when written, but how many say "universe", "solely" or "confined" in your everyday speech? It irritates me to no end that all speech has become monotonous and stale. Like a plant left in the sun for two long, it's limbs limp and yellowed.
And whats worse is the filler words, that even I wind up using. Endless time and effort wasted in saying cheap useless words like repeating "and" or using "like" in inappropriate context. Are these people stalling for time while their infantile brains try and grasp for actual words? It's so bad that many people seem content to skip nouns at all. Why bother to mention that you're talking about a cat, when you can just use "it" or "he". Nobody knows what the fuck you're talking about! Shut up! Use words.
And it's just as bad in IM's, because rather than raising themselves up to the writing standard of speech, many people downgrade their writing to their speech. And then, some genious decided to break that barrier and decided to substitute letters for sylables that sound the same. Why do we even have a language anymore? Why don't we all howl at the moon and just reachs for the attractive sex's chests? Abandon literacy, eunuciation, civilization in favor of lazy, lifeless, and limited communication.
Use a new word in everyday speech. Make life vivid, damnit.
