New Love
Love was something I never knew,
But that was before I found you.
When we touch my heart does pound,
Because in you a love I've found.
This love is so pure, it has to be right.
I easily fell for you, there was no fight.
When we kiss there's something there.
Something this right isn't found just
anywhere.
Deep inside is where I looked.
From that time on I knew I was hooked.
A life together is what I see.
That is my hope for our reality.
Love Is...
Love is like a gentle breeze
Blowing through the slender trees.
Love is as pure as the first snowfall
Falling upon my lover so tall.
Love is like the first slow song
I danced with my lover for so long.
Love is as free
as a pure white dove flying along in the breeze.
Love is so great
I know my heart shall not break.
With you in my arms so tight
I know our love is so bright.

As I sit here staring at the dark
In which you just passed
My heart cries out like a new sky lark
Because I always thought our love would last
You left me here to cry alone
You left me here to long for you
You left me here to be accident prone
You left me here with a broken heart
I can't believe you left me here
You said you love me to much to go
You love me too much to stay and face the fear
You don't know which way to go
I can help you make your decision
You should stay here with me
You should stay here and mend my broke heart with such precision
You need to stay with me through all eternity

I know I've betrayed you once before
I know I made your heart so sore
I know I hurt you oh so bad
But please don't be mad
Looks don't mean everything I know
But please let me show
How much I truly love you
Before you turn around and go
I wanna be with you
You have to belive me I really do

You were the first to be mine
the experience was new.
I thought I knew you.
I didn't know your intentions
not a word you said was true.
I know now what has to be done
