Week Three
Week three saw the Great Pumpkins and Drag Surfin begin to establish themselves as the teams to beat in this SFL season. Both had impressive wins over their counterparts.
The Pumpkins jumped all over the Blue Ballers right from the start as they got off to a quick 19-0 lead after Will Ogle returned a punt for a touchdown. The Blue Ballers scored just before the half when Lamar Frett found Jay McDuffie to cut the deficit to 19-7 at the half. However, in the second half, it was all Pumpkins as QB Scott Krebs consistently directed them down the field. In the end, 4 touchdowns from Ogle, and a tremendous effort from the entire team's defense meant another impressive victory for the Pumpkins have have handled all comers halfway through the season.
