Powell Gardens Living Room Exhibit 2003!
Here's the Visitors Center Building.
And this is outside the door of the entrance to the newest exhibit at Powell Gardens, called the "Living Room". This exhibit is basically what your home would look like, covered in grass and flowers! They've got the whole place set up like a house complete with dining room, living room, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom! The inhabitants of this home are the "Moss" Family. Manequins covered in MOSS! And of course, their names are Pete, and Kate Moss.
The staff even went so far as to take the manequins up to the chapel one day, dress them up, and take pictures of them! So there are 'wedding photos' on their fireplace mantel. Here are a few pictures i've taken so far of the exhibit. I plan on taking a few more of the parts i missed.
