Since its origins in the 10th century, St Mary's church building
and community have seen many changes.
Our building now reflects many different aspects of the life of
the church community as the body of Christ, embracing social events and a range
of worship styles within its walls.
As the building has grown and developed to respond to practical
needs, so too our church family has grown, to be outward looking, welcoming and
inclusive of all who wish to come, accepting one another as Christ accepts us
and valuing the diversity of gifts that all contribute.
We hope that as you share with us, you will find many
opportunities to meet God in worship, explore the journey of faith, and take
God's love into our world.
