This picture shows the Tranny bolted into a pulling Bruiser’s chassis
It’s just a example of how it would look bolted into your vehicle.
The two gears I provide give a 4 to 1 ratio at that stage. The vehicles differentials are at 2 to 1. If you were to use for example a 50 tooth spur and a 10 tooth pinion, you would have a 5 to 1 at that stage. Your total ratio will then be 4 times 2 times 5. Which equals 40. Or 40 to 1. A good middle of the road ratio.
For pulling, it might need to be closer to 50 to 1. Simply changing the pinion to a 8 tooth would get you there. Also good for some of you who have a passion for crawling.
If a hot road gear is what you want. Change the pinion to a 20 tooth. Now you are at 20 to one. Not a lot of torque. But hang on, there will be speed.
As you may have heard it does bolt right in. It’s all out of 6061 aluminum. The shafts are 1/4” ground steel drill rod. The screws are all 4-40.
