Seldec-4 selcall decoder

edit FireTruckStatus.dat
below is a screenshot of part of the FireTruckStatus.dat with comments
editing of this file is not normally required, colours can be changed in fields 5 and 6
DO NOT change the first four characters, this is your serial number.
Change that and your software will not work eg 8C22 is Noels serial number
once a valid decode has arrived, lets say C5641F1700C.

a match is looked for in the Callsigns.dat file, it finds C5641F with says is Glen Eden 64_1 (Pump) with a further decode file of 1
1 in Selcall+.cfg is FireTruckStatus.dat
FireTruckStatus.dat says a decode of 1700C means K7
hence a C5641F1700C is "Glen Eden 64_1 (Pump) K7 - At Normal Station" is displayed in Decode Scroll window
return signal: once a valid decode has arrived, lets say C55641 (return selcall is never the same, this is so all the radios know which way the selcall is going).

a match is looked for in the Callsigns.dat file, it finds C5564 with says is Glen Eden 64_1 (Pump) with a further decode file of 4
4 in Selcall+.cfg is FireTruckAnswerback.dat
FireTruckAnswerback.dat says a decode of 1 means K7 ACK
hence a C55641 is "Glen Eden 64_1 (Pump) K7 ACK" is displayed in Decode Scroll window
I have heavily editted my file to change the standard setup (standard setup shown)
  • removed text updating on Unit status when an appliance enters a Rountine or Priority message
  • my K3 and K9 listings have been expanded to cover all stations an appliance may go to eg K3 in area 25
  • goto download Auckland files location to see my full file
