Honey was our big doeling purchase for this year and I don't think we could have chosen a smarter choice in a doeling than her. So far she is super correct. She had a bit of baby fat being the only kid on her milky dam for quite awhile but it is coming off nicely. Her pedigree speaks for itself. Her dam went best doe in show twice this year at very competitive Northwest ADGA shows. She has two older full sisters who are finished champions and at least one maternal half sister. Full sister SGCH/MCH Honey Dew, like her dam, has earned multiple(4) ADGA best in show titles in CA. We expect great things to come with this girl. Her maternal half brother Honeymoon Bay will also be used extensively in our breeding program. Sadly Honey came down with a case of mastitis early into her second freshening and permanently lost half of her udder. She had no milk on that side this year with her quads so we bottle-raised two of them. These milking photos of her unfortunately will be all we will ever have taken as a first-freshening yearling and one week fresh on her second lactation not in full production. She would have been a very nice doe had she been able to reach her full potential but instead she is proving herself through her kids. Her daughter CH Lady In Red has been BOB 7X(every time shown in 2013) as a 2-year-old. SOLD
