Disclaimer, Mission, Thanks, and all that lovely stuff...

Site Mission----

Here at the LD Project, we strive to create a public information page in which parents and students might be able to locate general information about learning disabilities quickly and efficiently. We also strive to create a data base of resources in link form so that people with questions or concerns might be able to find a plethora of different sources to choose from in their search for greater understanding of and/or assistance in dealing with learning disabilities.

Disclaimer---- The LD Project does not endorse any single method of treatment regarding any form of disabilities, nor are we profiting in any way from making this site.
Lets see now...what else to say? Any information found on this page was gained by me, the webmisstress from reading the books or going to the websites on my resources page or in my "favorite links" section over to the left there. Or it was gained by interviewing or listening to the guidance counselors/special ed teachers at my school...or it came from my own personal experience with having an LD.

Thanks a Bunch! And lastly, the thank yous! Yeah!----

Wow...there are so many people that helped me in some way in making this page...where to start??? First off...I'd like to thank my parents for helping me through my own differences and encouraging me to use my skills to help others. Love you, mom and dad! Couldn't ask for two better parents!
Next...of course I want to thank my Independent Study teacher for providing me with a way to reach out to others. There's just no way I can express how thankful I am for all of your humor and encouragement!
Thanks to all the special ed teachers and other adults who have helped me this year in gathering information about learning disabilities. Thanks for all your patience and consideration!
And finally...oh yeah!...thanks to my great friend Sara for first getting me interested in web design. *wink*

Any questions? Concerns? Letters of worship to me? (haha) Please email me!
