~*~ Welcome to the LD project, an ongoing online project created to educate both parents and their children on what its like to live with a learning disability, and, more importantly, how to help yourself get the education you know you deserve.
~*~ Hi! My name is Phoenix, and I'm the webmistress of this site. As a labeled LD student myself, I have learned just how difficult it can be to thrive in this society and succeed in school with such differences in learning. However, I believe that with a positive attitude and the right resources, anyone can achieve above and beyond what is expected of her. After all, every human being is different in his or her own way, for better or for worse. It is what we do to use these differences to our advantage that makes the individual.
