Biography of Snoop Doggy Dogg

Real name Calvin Broadus born 20^th October 1972. He was always in and out of prison until he shot to fame in 1992 at the age of twenty, when a record label called Death Row Records signed him. Snoop Doggy Dogg was then given the chance by the hottest name Dr Dre to rap on his entire debut solo album The Chronic, which shot to number one on the Billboard chart. Snoop Doggy Dogg had many of fans from then on in.

In 1993 Snoop Doggy Dogg’s debut album "Doggy Style" came out. "Doggy Style" It was the best album of all because of the hardcore content of the album. Things were going well for the Compton raised young rapper, until in the same year Snoop Doggy Dogg was arrested for accessory to murder. While still been investigated by police Snoop Doggy Dogg’s second album hit the shops "Murder Was The Case", which was also a very successful album. In 1995 the trial of Snoop Doggy Dogg started, if found guilty he would have been sentence to death. Luckily he was found not guilty in 1996 due to the dury saying that Snoop Doggy Dogg’s bodyguard shot the man out of self defence. When Snoop Doggy Dogg was released from prison he was to find that while he was inside his debut album "Doggy Style" had tripled in value getting to number six in the Billboard chart.

In April of 1996 Snoop Doggy Dogg released "The Dogg Father" on which he said on his intro that people should have had more faith in him, during and after the trial. The release of "The Dogg Father" made Snoop Doggy Dogg a recognised name in hip hop. After the release of “The Dogg Father" Snoop Doggy Dogg released "Dead Man Walkin" which was another successful hit with the chain of Snoop Doggy Dogg fans. In the same year "Death Row Records" broke down, it’s C.E.O Suge Knight was placed in jail for assault and the death of the labels best rapper 2Pac, forced Snoop Doggy Dogg to leave the label and join another top record label "No Limit Sholders" where Snoop Doggy Dogg has released many great number one albums. Some of these are "The Game Is To Sold Not To Be Told" released in 1998 and in the same year "Top Dogg" another chart topping album and in 2000 Snoop Doggy Dogg released his album Tha Last Mean along with "The Greatest Hit’s album" released in 2001. While on No Limit Shoulder’s Snoop Doggy Dogg has also played roles in the record label’s films. Playing roles in "Who Got The Hook Up" and more recently "Gang Law". Snoop Doggy Dogg  also starred in a film called "Baby Boy", which came out in April 2002.
