The Smith Family

This page is for Jason, Carolyn, and Jeremy. Jason and myself (Carolyn, number three in the Halcomb clan) met on a blind date and almost a year later were married in the Oakland, California Temple, but only after he dropped (threw) my engagement ring into the Snake River while proposing marriage. After two and a half wonderful years of marriage we were blessed with a little angel we named Jeremy Chester Smith, being named after his dad and his grandpa. Jeremy turned 1 on July 10th and his favorite thing to do is walk. We love that he can walk! 

Jason graduated from Utah State University in May 2003 in Graphic Design and is excelling in his field at a design firm here in Logan, Utah.  As for me, I am thrilled about returning to school next month! If only I could decide on a specific field to study. There are too many good ones to choose from. I think I have it narrowed down to Accounting, Photography, or Architecture. However, Nursing or something in medicine, Interior Design, Music and Deaf Education are all tempting too.

More recently Carolyn and Jason have moved to Anchorage Alaska and have been here since October 2004. We're enjoying having them here. Also, Carolyn is due to have their second child in May. They've found out that it is a girl so we're just going to wait until the bundle of joy comes.

Jason and Carolyn have settled nicely into Anchorage and the Alaska way of life. The addition of Autumn Rose in May 2005 has brought many blessing into their home including even more joy and laughter.  Autumn is a wonderful child and Jeremy loves her to death.  They are hoping to buy a house this coming year to really get settled.  Jason continues to work hard for a great advertising agency in town as Carolyn stays home raising the children and goes to school parttime seeking an Accounting degree from UAA.
