Samos Koumaradei

Koumaradei is a mountainvillage in the south - center of the island of Samos. There are a couple of cute little churches with blue domes in the village, and a lot of ceramic shops. There are many old houses in Koumaradei. It is a very quiet village with birds and flowers. From the village you can make nice walks into the nature over special paths (there's a park).

Samos Pirgos

Pirgos is another very nice mountainvillage in south - center of the island, not far from Koumaradei. There are remains of a very old church on the large village square. Inside the remains stands anothet small church. On the village square there is also a very large old tree. In Pirgos there are many small old houses with balconies, that have pots with flowers in front of them. Some houses are falling apart, while others look in good condition.

Samos Ampelos

A beautiful small village high up in the mountains in the north of Samos. You reach it over a beautiful road through a forrest with pine trees. A couple of nice churches in this village but also lots of wiring, cables and electricity poles. Beautiful views as you drive up and great views from the village itself. The donkey we met near Agios Ioannis.
