"What is she tending to?' The king asked Eric as he watched Eleana disappear.

"She is aiding in the birth of this years first litter." Eric said as he stood staring out over the pack that had just returned from an afternoon play.

"Well, I'm happy to say that the pack now has three newborn pups." I informed Eric and the king, then I informed the pack. The entire pack gave out a joyous howl, the father wandered into the cave, one waited to see if he came out.

"Well, you seem to have your hands full with this growing…what the…" the king falls to the ground as a group of young pups pounced on him from behind. Eric called them off; when they were off I help the king up and dusted him off.

"What was that for?" The king questioned cautiously.

"They just want to play." I say as I run off and let the pups chase me, or are they chasing the tail of the pup in front of them? I'm gone for half an hour or so, I came walking back, it's easily seen that I'm worn out.

"Well, she really knows how to wear those little ones out." The king said as he saw me walking up and the pups all cuddled together sound asleep.

"They should be asleep until sunrise." I say as I rejoin Eric and the king, over looking the pack.

"You need to rest Eleana. You have done too much to assist with the food this night." Eric said as he looked towards me.

"I am perfectly fine, Eric." I looked at Eric, my eyes tell that I am too tired to aid tonight.

"I'll await that time with Eleana." The king said as he moved to Eleana's side.

"Thank You, King John, for watch over Eleana. You can rest in the second cave. Eleana will escort you there and then return to her resting area." Eric said as he heads down to join the hunting pack.

King Jon turned to me." Shall we head to rest."

"Yes, follow me. I shall lead you to your bed." I said as I headed towards the cave.
