This is an optional rule. When attacking you also roll 1d100 (or 1d10 and 1d10) to determine where on the body you hit.
Special 100 Head 99-94 Neck 93-89 Arm 88-69 Hand 68-67 Chest/Ribs 66-56 Stomach 55-45 Thigh 44-25 Knee 24-23 Calf 22-03 Foot 02-01
If a character is hit with a random hit roll, various things happen: A special would be something like hitting a weapon or wings or a tail.
If the attack was in an area usually not lethal with a puncturing weapon such as claws or bullets, (this assumes no punctured arteries etc.) for example, the hands, arms, calfs, thighs, knees and feet; the character may not use this body part. If they attempt to use this body part, they must beat a DC of 21 or suffer 3d6 damage each turn they try to use this body part. If they are hit at the legs their movement spead is 1/3rd its normal speed.
If the attack was in an area usually lethal with a puncturing weapon such as claws or bullets, for example, the head, neck and sometimes the chest, assuming that the attack broke through any armor on the individual, it counts as an instant death.
An attack to the head or neck by a blunt weapon deals 3x damage.
