Telepathy is the abilty to read minds of highly intellegent creatures (Humans and above) and eventually control them.
Unlike other powers telepathy is degreed. It is the player's choice on the level of telepathic ability if their Power Roll permits it.
Alpha Level Basic telepathy. You can mind speak (Communicate back and forth via the mind). You may also read the mind of someone with a Will of 10 ± your Wis modifier or below. +2 Will (Alpha Level is 1/2 Power Point)
Gamma Level Moderate telepathy. You can mind speak (Communicate back and forth via the mind). You may also read the mind of someone with a Will of 12+(1 per 2 lvls)± your Wis modifier or below. You may control the mind of a individual with a Will of 15 ± your Cha modifier or below. Gamma level Telepaths may perform a Psionic Blast of 1d4 damage. If the opponent's 1d20 ± Will mod. is greater than 10 + The telepath's level ± Int., the attack is negated. +4 Will (Gamma Level is 1 Power Point)
Omega Level Extreme telepathy. You can mind speak (Communicate back and forth via the mind). You may read the mind of someone with a Will of 10+(4 per 2 lvls)± your Wis modifier. You may control the mind of someone with a Will of 25 ± your Cha modifier or below. Omega level Telepaths may perform a Psionic Blast of 1d8 damage on an opponent. If the opponent's 1d20 ± Will mod. is greater than 1d20 + the Telepath's level ± Int., the attack is negated.
At level 20 you may assend to the Astral Plane at will. In the Astral Plane you may assume ANY form you wish. If while in the Astral Plane you are killed, your physical body dies and vica versa. Until level 10 an Omega player must beat a DC of 10+(1/2 current level rounded up) or go insane for 1d4 days. The DC to break is computed as 16 ± their Will (Will) modifier. +6 Will (Omega Level is 2 Power Points)
A person subjected to telepathy must roll a number of 10 ± the telepath's Control of Powers (CoP) modifier to break free from its effects.
