The Klendak where a happy and peaceful people until that is the 145th Yordan Armada came to their planet. With in fifteen Earth years, the Klendak's world had been destroyed and what was left of their people, a mere 20,000 were enslaved. Since the Great Slave Rebellion in 1 AR (340 BCE), there have been Klendak rebels destroying the Yordan's civilization in anyway they can.

The Klendak are a cunning and resourceful people who have fought their oppressors for over 3000 Earth years. The Yordan consider these rebels terrorists and whenever the resistors attack Yordan territory and trade routes, the Yordan begin executing slaves, this usually quells the attacks for a few months at a time.

The Klendak resemble cats. They are sleak and slinder beings with long tails and pointed ears. A Klendak will live to about the age of 90 Earth years, but, as slaves usually don't see their 35th birthday. The Klendak stand at about 5'5" for males (1.67) and 5' for females (1.83). Those born into slavery have a 6 digit number tattooed on each wrist and on the back of the neck; Free-borns do not.

The Klendak and the Yordan are bitter enemies. They have minimal relations with the Gedkopans and with the Humans.

The Klendak have no unifed government, as they do not technically have a homeworld. There are over 50 splintered resistance groups the majors will be discussed here. First, is the Klendaki Liberation Army. They are perhaps the most militant of the groups specializing in suicide squadrands and assassinations. Upon the establishment of a Klendak government, they want a military dictatorship under Gen. Feragas. Next, the Society of Free Thought and Independent Development seeks a peaceful means of independance, they are led by Pagansha. Third, the Order of Five, is the coillition of five loosely associated groups, the Society for Activism, the Popular Social Movement, the Alliance of Freedmen, the Army of Justice and the Interplanetary Uprising for a Soverign State; under Tangataa they favor a republic. And lastly, is the People's Democractic Interplanetary Rupublican Order a Socialistic group under Chairman Targanas.

The Klendak practice aminism, the believe that all things have souls. Their religion is illegal when under Yordan control. Klendaki society is matriarchal.

The Klendak speak Klendakin, which has no written language as it was stamped out a century ago.

The Klendak recieve their names based on the first sight of their mother upon child birth, thus they have name's such as Tall Grass, Gray Rock, Three Suns etc.
