The Gedkopan do not genrally show emotion and often seem very cold and callous to humans, they are not, however, evil. They see the world in black and white (or in their case in Dimonids and Elarnite), there are two classes in Gedkipan society the have nots (Dimonids) and the haves (Elarnites). The Elarnites control everything and are considered far above the Dimonids because they are genetically rarer. In Gedkopan society, the Dimonids are expendable and the Elarnites employ a host of restrictions to "keep the Dimonids in line" which are similiar in form and function to South African Apartide or Southern segregation.

The Gedkopan are a bizarre (by Earth standards) diviation in the processes of evolution, they have evolved not from animal but mineral. Gedkopans are living ore who at will may take human form. In their natural state, they appear as intricately cut diamond, black onyx or ruby quartz about the size of a human fist.

The Gedkopans keep to themselves and the only real contact they have with other speices are their occasional wars with Yordans usually over territorial claims.

The Gedkopan live in a feudalistic system with the masses at the bottom and the Elarnite at the top. The Dimonids have absolutely no rights except to ask their particular fuedal lord or lady to attack another feudal lord or lady in retribution for various actions. Although politicially neutral towards the Klendaks, many of the masses relate to them.

The following are the flags of major lords and barons:

The Gedkopan are generally atheistic. Some however show slight reverance towards Kekear the god of earth and fire.

The Gedkopan speak a language of low rumbles like the sound of a large stone being moved. They have no written language.

Gedkopan names vary. There are no standard names and the only rule of naming is not to name someone after a living relative.
