A notification to the Narrator of a change in fighting style is required. It takes 1 turn to change fighting styles. The type of mod. applies when fighting with that style. Bonuses to attack rolls and damage rolls apply only when using that style, bonuses in things like Reflex or Intimidate apply even when not using that style.

Basic Fighting
This is the default fighting style, it costs nothing to have this style and it has no advantages or disadvantages.

Boxing
(1 pt./rank) (Str mod.)
A fighting style which relies on evasion and punches.
Advantages
4 ranks - Basic Punches - +1 damage on domanant hand
6 ranks - Parry with fists - Absorbs 1/2 damage from one unarmed melee attack on next turn. Perry with fists can not help against blows to feet.
Headbutt - +2 to attack roll 1d4-1
8 ranks - +2 damage on domanant hand
Low Blow - +1 damage to males
10 ranks - Haymaker - If an opponent has 1/8 of HP left, using this gives you +2 on your damage roll
Disadvantages
A boxer gets a -6 Attack Roll penalty if he or she uses kicks. Lawful Good charcters can not do low blows, headbutts etc.

Judo
(1 pt./rank) (Dex mod.)
The anti-fighting fighting style.
Advantages
4 ranks- Throw - deals 3 subdual damage points
6 ranks- Lift - Lifting of the oppenent over head for (Strength bonus) rounds.
8 ranks- Lock - Stranglehold - Opponent passes out if your Strength bonus outweighs their Constitution bonus The opponent passes out for 1d4-1 rounds.
10 ranks- Body acts as 2 damage resistant armor.
Disadvantages
If a Judo fighter uses his or her fists or feet they have a -6 Attack roll penalty.

Karate/ Kung Fu
(1 pt./rank) (Dex mod.)
Highly formalized fighting.
Advantages
4 ranks - +1 Reflex save
6 ranks - Perry with fists or feet - Absorbs 1/4 damage from one unarmed combat attack on next turn.
8 ranks - +1 damage with attacks
10 ranks - Deadly Strike - If an opponent has 1/8 of Hp left, this will kill him instantly (Can only be used once/day)
Lawful Good characters can choose to stun them instead
Disadvantages
If one specializes with weapons for fighting (i.e. uses a staff) rank costs are double. A good character who uses karate or kung fu can never initiate a fight or face a -4 attitude penalty from more disiplined fighters.

Street Brawling
A bloody and unorganized style.
(1 pt./rank) (Str mod.)
Advantages
4 ranks - Spit in Eye - Opponent blinded for 1 round (DC 13)
6 ranks - Headbutt - +2 to attack roll 1d4
8 ranks - 4 ranks free in Intemidation
10 ranks - +2 attack roll when using unusal items like trashcans, TV's, beer bottles etc.
Disadvantages Lawful characters can not street brawl
Street brawling is 20% more likely to attract police officers.
