A character can choose 1 archnemesis at the 1st level, and 1 archnemesis at each subsequent multiple of 5th level. You do not have to choose the archnemesis at that level. For example, you can have Dr. Badd as your first level are archenemy, but, do not meet Destroyo Man until level 6 you can still choose him as you archnemesis. You gain +1 Acting, Interigation, Listen, Spot, Track, and Damage Roll versus the archenemy or archenemies. You can not switch archenemies unless he or she dies. This bonus also applies to any henchmen or henchwomen which are under your archenemy's control. If you choose a Super team as your archenemy you can choose 1 archenemy at the 1st level, and 1 archnemesis at each subsequent multiple of 10th level. Organizations such as International Evil Corp. are considered a team.
Note to Narrator: Feel free to have NPC archenemies grow in level with the players to provide a challenge each time.
