| Michael
Payne |
|
|
Thank goodness one of Mike Payne’s hobbies is
building, servicing and upgrading computers. He has been the main
technology guru for our operations team. His second hobby,
collecting and tinkering with antique “war alarm” clocks, seems to
mesh well with his interest in computers. As time allows, Mike likes
to fish and golf just to relax.
Mike graduated with a Bachelor of Science from
the University of Evansville in 1980 and married Carla Ray that
September. They have one son, Brandon, who will be a senior in high
school this fall and is home schooled. Carla is a licensed Real
Estate Agent.
Mike’s oilfield experience began in 1978 as a
summer hand working for Ashland Pipeline in Mt. Carmel, Illinois.
After graduating from college, he went to work for Dowell in Mt.
Carmel. From 1980 through 1994, he worked in field supervision and
as a technical specialist for Dowell. As part of an alliance
between Dowell and Texaco, Mike moved to Salem, Illinois and worked
as a DESC Engineer in Texaco’s Salem office. Mike came to work for
Farrar Oil Company in 1997 as a production engineer. Since 2001 he
has been CRII’s reservoir engineer.
Mike is a licensed minister and he currently ministers to a
church in Vincennes, Indiana. Return to Members Page |

Gregory
Webb |

|
Greg followed his Dad, Coy Webb, into the
oilfield in 1976 when he went to work for Petro Drilling Company.
From 1978 to 1979 Greg worked for Tri-Star Producers. He joined
Farrar Oil Company in 1979 as a pumper and stayed on with CRII.
Just look at his email address and you can see Greg is a real "oiljohnny".
Greg's wife is Linda, and together they have four
children. Greg's daughters are Heather and Kristel and he has two
stepsons, Patrick and William.
Greg enjoys the outdoor sports, hunting and
fishing. He likes music and plays the guitar. Over the years Greg
has continued his education thru community college classes in
electricity, HVAC and karate. We don't know how far he went in
karate, but he has certainly earned a black belt in pumping. Return to Members Page |

Jake Willmore Jr |
|
Like many of our guys, Jake loves the great outdoors.
He likes hunting and fishing and he also finds and collects arrow heads.
Jake has been married to Tonya since 1981 and has two children - Sondra
and Nicole. Sondra just graduated from high school and plans to
attend Rend Lake College this fall. Right out of high school, Jake
went to work for Petro Drilling Company. One of his first jobs was
hauling water for shaft drilling at the new mine at Macleansboro,
Illinois. Jake's father retired from Farrar Oil Company as a
tank truck driver in 1977 and Jake took over his job driving the tank
truck for Farrar's oilfield operation. Jake was a natural in the oil
patch. He already knew where most of Farrar's leases were located,
since he had spent so many miles riding with his Dad in that tank truck as
a kid. In 2001 Jake was promoted to production foreman, where he is
responsible for the eastern portion of CRII's operations. Jake has
really stepped up to the plate for this newest job where he received very
little training and always does a "slick" job. Just look at his
email address.
