Late work: If an
assignment is late the best grade you can get is 50%.
Correctives: You may
do correctives on any assignment or test. You get back only half credit and
must
explain either what you did wrong or where in the book or
notes you found the correct answer.
Grades will be posted
by code name Fridays on the wall so you may know what your grade is and fix
errors if
necessary.

GRADES POSTED ON LINE. Be sure to find out your child’s ID.
Remember these are not permanent; they are to help everyone know what needs to
be fixed. Below are some things to keep in mind:
What do you correct first?
1. Missing
work (only worth 50% but well worth it!)
2. Tests
and Quizzes
3. Other
work with 60% or less
4. Anything
else
How do you do correctives? (Only get back 50% of
what’s wrong)
For each problem missed you must:
1. Put
the correct answer
2. EXPLAIN
what you did wrong OR locate the correct answer in your notes, book, or lab
OR step by step how to do it or why it is now correct.
HELP I am available before school, after school, morning
break, and my planning period to help with questions and to make up any tests
or quizzes. If you set up an appointment with me you are more likely to catch
me. Before school I am often in the science computer lab and after school I
often have meetings or might be in the secondary computer lab if I am not in my
room.
There is also a homework club run by the high school honor
students in the Art room on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
CALENDAR on the outside of my door shows important due dates
of projects and major tests. Feel free to check it often.
