“Ashley? What are you doing? Why are you doing this?” Justin absentmindedly asked knowing she was leaving him. “Justin, I need to go. I have to find my dad and tell him what happened” Ashley said packing her things. “Will you be back Ash?” Justin asked, about to break down, fearing the worst. “Depends on my father.” She said and with that she left without saying goodbye to him. The other guys had known it for awhile. ‘I have to go’ her words rang through his mind for the week ahead. He kept replaying her words and actions all through his mind. He saw her leave and that made his heart break even more. ‘Why couldn’t I have seen the signs?’ he thought, ‘she has been keeping to herself a lot.’ “Justin, You have to cheer up! This is not healthy. You won’t eat, even if you do you its not much. I noticed that you haven’t gotten enough sleep. Please, do it for yourself” Lance pleaded with him for the millionth time since Ashley left. “I can’t sleep because I will dream of my babygirl. I can’t eat because I am too tired. Lance, please help me.” Justin said sadly. “Have you tried calling her? Emailing her? What about her dad, do you know his name or number?” JC asked. “I tried once to call her cell but it was turned off, I haven’t tried emailing her, and her dad’s name is Anthony Troy. I think he lives in Seattle. Do you think we could somehow call him without her knowing?” Justin asked the guys. They looked at each other trying to find hope in their friend’s eyes. “We can always try Justin.” Chris, the eldest one, said. Weeks passed, Justin began eating and sleeping a little better knowing they were trying their best. Everyone of the guys, except Justin, gathered in their manager’s room. “Johnny, we have to tell you that Ashley called us and is going to come see us but she doesn’t want Justin to know. Do you think that we could arrange it for her to come to one of the concerts and of course backstage, then maybe get her a room on the same floor with us afterwards. That way Justin could talk to her and maybe all would be ok.” Lance said. “Yeah, I will try my best.” Johnny said leaving the room. They all filed out of the room and began to disperse into their own rooms when the heard a guitar softly strumming and then heard Justin singing and then stopping. “Shhhh......Lets listen to him. She knew which room was Justin’s and she had to avoid him as much as possible so she wouldn’t give it away that she was here. The bellman took her things to her room and she called Lance to let him know that she was there. She dialed the familiar number. “Hello?” Justin answered Lance’s cell. Ashley froze not knowing what to do. “Hello? Anyone there?” Justin said shooting a confused look at Lance who was busy talking to the band about Justin’s song. Ashley just hung up and breathed in a sigh of relief that she hadn’t been able to do in the month that she had been away from him. Soon after she left she realized that she truly did love Justin. While thinking of Justin, the phone rang so she picked it up not knowing if she should say anything. “Hello?” she heard Lance’s voice say. “Lance! Its me!” Ashley said happily. “Hey that was close wasn’t it. I was talking to the band about something” He explained. “Oh, ok, well I’m going to go get ready and all ok” “Ok, listen your seat is front row center but you have to wear a disguise so that Justin won’t know you and when we play a certain song we will bring you up on stage.” Lance said “Will do Mr. Bossman.” Ashley said and heard Lance laugh as he hung up. She went to take a shower and after that she took out a pair of sunglasses and a baby blue hat. Justin knew that she never wore hats so she wouldn’t be noticed especially with the sunglasses. When they bring her onstage she planned on taking off the hat and sunglasses and she couldn’t wait. She had on a baby blue tube top with black flare pants and her nice baby blue tennis shoes that Justin had bought her a long time ago completed her outfit. There was a knock on the door so she looked out of the peep hole to see who it was, it was Joey, JC, Chris, and Lance. She opened the door and they hurriedly came in. Once inside they all gave her hugs and complimented her on the disguise. “Ok, now we know who to pick out of the crowd. We have to go do sound check.” JC said and hugged her again. “You look awesome, Ashley” Chris said as they left. Lance had given her the backstage pass and her ticket. An hour later she went to the arena and took her seat with everyone else. Soon the lights dimmed after the opening acts were finished and as the little girls around her screamed the butterflies in her stomach grew tighter. She heard the music begin and she was dancing and singing along watching her friends jump around to all the songs they worked hard to record. No one in the audience had as much respect as she did for the five men she had grown to love just by listening when they needed her and being there and being supportive. Soon the music softened and she heard the music to a song she had never heard. “Ok, this is the time we have a little surprise for our little buddy, Justin.” JC said and let Lance talk. “That’s right, we are going to bring up one very lucky lady so Justin can sing this very heart moving song that he wrote not long ago.” Lance finished “Ok, Joey and I are going to choose so we choose the young lady right here with the hat and sunglasses.” Chris said and pointed to Ashley as the bodyguards escorted her to the stage steps. She went up on stage and sat on the stool they had designated for her. Is it really you?” Justin asked shocked. “Yeah Justy, It’s me!” Ashley said as she hugged him, “We need to talk after the concert!” She finished and was escorted back into the crowd and too her seat. she watched the rest of the show and every time Justin was over near her he would smile and she loved seeing his loving smile. She knew that she would never leave his side again. She was in love with a wonderful man that she cared deeply for.
