Derek's thoughts on how we met:

We met on Wednesday March 20th, 2002. I (Derek) had just graduated from Capri College for Massage Therapy just a few days before I met her. I came home and my friend Billy were hanging out and he mentioned this girl he wanted me to meet. Of course, it was Amber! It was actually kind of funny because we ended up meeting at the Pub in Freeport. Neither of us were of age so we were drinking water while everyone else was sippin on cold beers. We didnt say a whole lot to each other at the bar. Instead, I talked to Billy about her, and she talked to Sarah (Billy's g/f at the time) about me. I thought she was so attractive and couldn't stop peeking an eye over at her. I think she was doing the same...ha ha! Anyways, those are my thoughts on how we met.
