The first new Lamborghini was the Lamborghini Countach LP500s. The inspiration came as Ferrari unveiled the boxer which was quicker than the LP400s the earlier version. Lamborghini had to do something to get back in the mix. They tried many ideas such as making the LP400s a turbo charged 4 litre but troubles with cooling made not to be possible.  Lambo decided  to build a totally new car LP500s. The new enlarge displacement to 4754 cc made it quicker other changes were also made to this fabulous car.
