Dynamic e-business is the evolution of our e-business strategy. It is the dynamic adaptation of e-business processes and associated systems to support changing business strategies and tactics. It is our initiative to be the leader in delivering the standards-based platform you need to build, run and manage Web services applications. Our platform provides the infrastructure to integrate sophisticated transactions that support dynamic business processes.

Dynamic e-business has been made possible by the recent industry adoption of the necessary open-standard technologies and the desire by both IT and management for business processes and infrastructure to enable a companyÕs agility.

We have developed and collaborated with industry partners to lead the industry adoption of Universal Description, Discovery and Integration (UDDI), Simple Object Access Pro (SOAP), and Web Services Description Language (WSDL). These XML-based technologies provide the underpinning necessary to enable services-oriented architecture and the platform software to realize dynamic e-business. Until recently, technologies were missing that would communicate, describe, advertise and syndicate between Web services. Meanwhile, businesses waited for the time when their infrastructure and systems would be as flexible as their customers, partners and suppliers expected. The wait is over.
