Thickening the outer front spars
I also had to add a piece of 1/8" thick spruce to the outer front spars as well. Buying these pieces nearly broke the budget. Do as I should have done not as I did...decide to use the new airfoil before you build the spars. Here, the outer spars are clamped together with the 1/8" spruce in the middle glued on with T-88.
Water level
Using about 30 feet of aquarium air tubing filled with water made certain that both outer forward spars had identical dihedral set. (camera did not focus well on close-ups)
