The Vow
I pray you are safe and warm,
and that you weather every storm.
But if you ever need a hand,
or someone to understand.
I will always be here,
so to my safe harbor steer.
If the winter wind whips up a gale,
Search for my strong and sturdy sail.
My bow light will be shining bright,
To lead you through the darkest night.
I will ride the roughest seas,
Bringing the ocean to her knees.
I will call you with my siren song,
Into my arms where you belong.
I will brave the fiercest tide,
If you need me by your side.
I pledge this vow from my heart,
Even though we are apart.
