The time has come for Christmas cheer,
So badly needed in this year.
So much has happened in days gone by,
So many lost, so many cry.
Battles we fight still rage on,
Looking for the peaceful rays of dawn.

But in this season of heavens delight,
Let us all remember God’s loving light.
Don’t forget to sing a Christmas song,
And do send those cards along.
Be happy in this time of strife,
And celebrate Jesus’ life.

Take your loved ones and hold them near,
Make a season full of cheer.
Send your wishes to those far away,
Let them know they are thought of today.
You never know when your last chance will come,
To say “I Love You” to your speacial ones.

My love and prayers go out to you,
Not just today but all year through.
I hope this season brings you peace and love,
And happiness from God above.
May the glory of Christmas fill your days,
And bless you in many wonderful ways.
