How do you get a round peg into a square hole?  Make the peg square!

Both the horizontal and vertical stabilizers 
(also known as 'stab' and 'fin') require reinforcement 
in the elevator and rudder sections. 

Sandpaper is used to make the round dowels square 
in order to fit nicely into the flutes of the corrugated AirCore construction material.
