She begun to sing at 3 and the piano at 5 years old, and by 10 years old, she held a career on the stage in Carnegie Hall of NY, the youngest to do so. She went to Tokyo in 2001, aiming for a CD debut, releasing the group's first single on Valentine's Day 2003. She is an active high school student.

He too began the piano at 5 years old and also began to write his own music. His works amount to over 500. As a college student of 17, he won the Grand Prix in a YAMAHA-sponsored contest for composition and won many other compositional contests.

Nao met Ai in Shibuya, where she was singing to a radio cassette recorder. He was overwhelmed by her voice and soon made a demo tape.
