So who is Bob? Well, Bob could have been an ancient prophet like Moses, except nobody was named 'Bob' back then. Bob could have been a great Chinese Emperor, but I don't remember anything in history about the 'Bob Dynasty'. Bob could be a nondescript, non-gender archangel, except the Bible doesn't mention the 'Archangel Bob' anywhere. The truth is Bob could be anybody. Bob could be male, female, brown, green, happy, sad, cool, nerdish or just breathing. That is why Bob represents our group. Our group is made up of all kinds of Bobs. Bob represents everyone but Bob is representative of One. The One who made all of as uniquely Bobbed as we are. We are always looking for new Bobs to join the Gloria Dei Lutheran Youth Group. If you are not yet Bobified or are just curious about Bobification, come as you are and we'll be happy to have you. We're located at 121 South White Road in San Jose, CA. Enjoying a dynamic program with music, great activities and discussions. Our youth room has a new look this year. We have a loft and a PS2. It's a great time to meet with friends and revive your week.
Humpty Dumpty fell off this wall...but this retreat was designed to keep young women from falling. My beautiful wife, Doris, her chaperones and guest speakers did a fantastic job. Bob would like to thank all of you for giving your time and vision of God to us. For those young ladies who would like to reminisce, I will leave the brochure posted her for a few weeks.

It was a Lock-In...a word that sends dread down the spine of any sane youth leader. Nonetheless, we had a good time in our youth fortress for an entire night of games, gab, fun and food. Just in case some of you insomniacs missed this even, we will have another lock-in coming later in the year.
Thank you to everyone that helped. You are an awesome group. Because of our help, the Lord's Pantry was able to provided Thanksgiving food baskets for over 500 families. Many of you gave up your afternoon to help and you should know that you made a difference. I hope each of you had a great Thanksgiving!
It was great to see all of you there. We had a great time and had some good food. Thank you to everyone who brough a stuffed animal and toy for Toys for Tots. Doris and I will be praying for you through this holiday season that God may unwrap the rich gifts He has placed inside each of your hearts. Doris and I are so blessed to have each of you be a part of our lives. Merry Christmas!
I have one final event scheduled for you. This will be my last event with you. We will take some time to plan out your future. All of you have talents that you can use to contribute to keep the group strong and growing. I have talked to the pastor about how we can do that and some of you have come forward with plans to help. It will be great to spend some time with all of you...one last time. Hope to see all of you there.
