Review - Dragon Ball Z Hyper Dimension

review by Jon Stefaniak

DBZ Hyper Demension is one of the best DBZ games for SNES. You could say its basically a fighter with a story line thats similar to the TV show. You need to get the translation for this ROM to be english, and you can find it at The Whirlpool.

Graphics: (9/10) The graphics receive a 9 in my opinion, with some nicely detailed backgrounds, and really good looking characters. You could get side tracked that this is a Playstation game!

Sound: (7/10) The music for this game is great, but the same sound effects are heard over and over. When you power up or do some sort of special move, your character says the same thing over...and over... and over...

Fun: (9/10) Wow! I have been playing this game for months and I can't get enough of it. Each character has a wide variety of moves, and there are many options for each of the kinds of battles you have.

Creativity: (5/10) This is your basic Fighter game. The only thing that really makes it unique is the story mode, and the tournaments you can have.

Multi-Player: You can use multiplayer in this game for either 1 on 1 or even the Tenki (tournament) mode.

Tips and Cheats:None currently available

Errors: You shouldn't have any problems unless you don't download and patch the translation file.

- Conclusion -

This game is a must have for any DBZ fan. You cannot find it anywhere here in the US for SNES because it was only released in Japan. The only way to get it is as a ROM, so download it now! It covers the whole DBZ story that was on the cartoon, plus a little more.
