I was an Aussie living in Wales but I had to come home for visa-ical reasons. I still do adventures. Mind you, sometimes I consider buying milk an adventure (depending on which country I am buying it in) so don't expect too much rivetting action. There is some, just not lots.

I am now going to spend some time thinking up interesting things to put on this page. My last page, Mel's Castle, was purported to be continually under construction and after the first two week burst of activity never was. So THIS page is never under construction. Ever. My friend Jennifer bought me this carton of Farmer's Union Iced Coffee on New Years Day 2000. The cow KNEW it was my New Years Resolution to give the stuff up as well, but you can't say no, so I drank it anyway and then gave up. I scanned it in memorial. I wish I had some now. I am drooling all over the keyboard just looking at the carton! Incidentally, for those of you who are making rash assumptions, my name is not Melanie. Not that there is anything wrong with the name Melanie, it is just not my name. My name is Meleah. It is apparently the Hawaiian form of Mary, or when spelt Malia, a Hawaiian word for calm and tranquil. Which I always am. I have also heard it means 'stripe' in Swahili (M'lia) and 'wine' in Hebrew (meleah). Quite the odd picture you have of me now, isn't it??
