Born Kevin Warren Chan to a Canton man and a Malaysian lady. Lived in El Sereno for a few years and moved to Alhambra. The rest of my family think of me as the odd one, of course. If the voice isn't a dead giveaway, then it's my refusal to grow up. Attended Fremont Elementary and Alhambra High School. Still talke to a small group of friends from elementary, and a slightly bigger and pretty diverese group from high school. Enjoyed my first and last years of high school, but that's it. Everything in the middle was just bleh. Attending Cal Poly Pomona, and yes, I'm living at home.
Interested in all sorts of music. Heavy Metal, Alternative, Oldies, 80's, Pop, Brit, Classic, anything rock (except for most punk and hardcore), you name it. I also enjoy happy go lucky music like Bis and Polysics, and even weirder like Dir En Grey.
Movies? Good serious dramas and good comedies. I stress the good, unless I'm really bored, which means anything goes. Action and Foreign flicks are up there as well. That even goes for Disney movies. But I'm always up for stuff like Lilo and Stitch and Finding Nemo.
Also, I still play with action figures and toys, and still watch cartoons. Trigun, Eva, Kenshin, PPG, anything cartoon network, Invader Zim, a few other Nick toons like Rocko, Dragonball and of course, Cowboy Bebop. Immaturity forever!
Going along with the whole "never growing up" theme, I guess I'm just afraid of coming to terms with real life. Like in Van Wylder, I feel happy and safe around my friends in this little protected environment. I don't want to end up like most adults, working all day and never really having any time for fun. Or maybe I can find a job where I have can have fun and earn a living. Eh, one can only hope.
